Shirley Warren

I am originally from Seneca, South Carolina. In 1971, I married an Army Lieutenant from California. After two years in the Army at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, we moved to the Los Angeles area, where Steve reentered the LAPD. I became an attorney, and we had three kids. In 1991, we moved to Kingsport, Tennessee, and I began my real estate career.

I became a broker at a Remax office in 2002 and later moved to a Realty World office. In April 2011, I founded my own company, Signature Properties. At Signature Properties, we believe in "The Signature Difference" – a pledge to donate a portion of every commission earned to a charity of our client's choice. We also encourage our agents to participate in local charitable activities. Our team has contributed to building homes, supporting the United Way, cleaning public areas, painting interiors, and ringing bells for the Salvation Army, among other efforts.

In February 2023, I experienced a life-altering event when I suffered a brainstem stroke. Despite flatlining twice, I survived Miraculously because God wasn’t finished with me yet. Although I have physically recovered, I am left with no balance and reduced swallowing ability. 

In December 2023, Steven Hobbs, an agent who has been with the company for eight years, and my son, Tyler Warren, who has experience running multiple businesses, joined the company in ownership roles to continue Signature Properties' legacy. Despite changes in the structure of my company, our charitable donations have continued, exceeding $500,000.

I have returned to work at Signature Properties as the broker for our Relocation and Referral network, Platinum Relocation. I am here to assist you with any of your real estate needs. In a time when many Americans want to give back but may lack the means, we provide the opportunity for real estate buyers and sellers to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
